To reduce weight, it is not necessary to quit eating. Just making little tweaks in your habits can ace up the weight loss journey. Your physical health has an impact on your mental health as well. So try to stay as fit as a fiddle.

DO NOT SKIP BREAKFAST

Skipping breakfast is not the solution. In 2019, a survey found that 8.8% of women skipped breakfast. Whereas men are concerned, the ratio is 19.1 %. Instead of having processed food, try to have fruits in the morning. Don’t have time? Just have an apple to meet the requirement as they say, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.”

Exercise Regularly

Eat less, move more. Interestingly, exercise is not limited to gyming. You can dance, swim, run or simply jog. The whole idea is to just keep yourself engaged in some physical activity. Including sports such as cycling, cricket, badminton, etc will also do the job.

Stay Hydrated

Something as simple as drinking water can also play its part in reducing some extra pounds. The main cause of overeating is when you misunderstand thirst for being hungry. Try to keep your body hydrated so that you don’t feel like your stomach is empty. Being habitual of drinking a glass of water after every 2 hours does the job.

Eat Clean

You bite it, you write it. Question yourself before eating. Is this food healthy? Will it provide me with nutrients or just unwanted fat? Can I replace it with a healthy item?. Remember, your mouth is not a Bermuda triangle that food will get disappear. It will gather as unhealthy fat.

Use Smaller Plate

As they say, “keep your circle small.” I believe in keeping your plate smaller. Eat like a bird, less and slow. Don’t eat to eradicate your boredom, Especially when it comes to your favorite dish( most commonly Biryani) or rice in any form. Don’t let that food distract you from staying fit.

Snack healthy

Yes! You heard it right. Snacking can also be healthy. Try to snack on fruits, vegetables, low-fat yogurt and cheese, unsalted nuts, etc. Survey says that unhealthy snacking such as chocolate is a result of depression and anxiety. Try to keep your mind relaxed by engaging yourself in fun activities to avoid stress.

Eat whatever you want but in balance because excess of anything is inferior. Weight loss is not about eating less it is more of a lifestyle. Try to keep your lifestyle healthy in every way possible.
